On The Grommet: TAB By WALTER + RAY Just In Time For Holiday Travel

Start-up WALTER + RAY, makers of road warrior worthy travel accessories is growing. The Kickstarter funded travel brand launched their signature products, TAB ZipSleeve and TAB Messenger this spring. TAB, a welcome alternative to stuffing the items into the airplane’s seat back pocket, is an 11-inch bag that slips into the seat back pocket or hangs from your tray table legs with two included SnapStraps.

The organizer contains internal compartments, padded tablet divider and two removable insert bags for small essentials. Patent-pending SmartFlap magnetic flap hangs over the seat back pocket edge as a reminder not to de-plane without your stuff. TAB streamlines modern transit with accessibility, visibility and grab and go convenience.

The organizer has earned critical consumer acclaim and has since been featured on CNN’s list of groundbreaking travel accessories, showcased in the Los Angeles Times, The Denver Post, The Richmond Times & Dispatch, The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Irish Times, The Daily Suitcase and has been featured in the Hot Travel Accessory List of Delta SKY Magazine.

The highly anticipated product, already a standout in WALTER + RAY’s online shop and brick and mortar boutiques, hit the shelves of retail giant the Container Store last Friday, just in time for the holiday season. WALTER+RAY CEO Tania Rodrigues will be available online tomorrow at the Grommet, an innovative product launch pad and marketplace, to talk shop, and launch TAB Messenger to their community of customers, makers and influencers.

Tania was inspired by the high flying stories of her Uncle Walter, and her father, Ray who always viewed the world as one great big adventure. What began as a tribute to their spirit and a way for the jetsetter herself to stay organized, has since emerged as a global brand with style and staying power.
