Travel Good Show
We are back and unpacked from the Travel Goods Show in Las Vegas. We are thrilled to report that WALTER + RAY was welcomed into the industry with open arms!
We drove from Los Angeles and arrived late Saturday night. Sunday morning, we went to the Las Vegas Convention Center and met our little starter 10X10 booth! We had a great space across from a wonderful luggage brand and in between an adventure travel goods company and a children’s accessory booth. Our neighbors were so sweet and helpful!
Our booth took two days to build as it was the first time showing and we wanted to be sure everything was secure and in the best place. It looked fantastic! When we opened the doors on Tuesday morning, we were bright eyed and excited! Our first booth visitors were press followed by a steady stream of retailers, distributors and more press!
The three days gave us our first orders, around 160 companies to follow up with and potential write ups in a variety of publications and blogs. Also, the show hosted a welcome party where we met some fantastic people in the industry that gave us some great tips.
